About WhatPeptide

What this site is

WhatPeptide is an independent peptide research and recommendation resource. We rank peptides by published research relevance across 12 health goals, provide head-to-head comparisons, and maintain a library of harm reduction guides covering testing, preparation, storage, and health monitoring.

Why it exists

The peptide information space is dominated by vendor-sponsored content and clinic marketing. Most "best peptide" lists are thinly disguised sales pages where rankings correlate with commission rates, not research quality. Users researching peptides deserve a resource that scores by evidence, not by who pays the most.

We built WhatPeptide to be the resource we wished existed: one that tells you what the research actually says, flags what it doesn't, and gives you the tools to make safer decisions regardless of where you purchase.

How rankings work

Every peptide in our database is scored on a 0-100 scale across each of 12 health goals. Scores reflect the breadth and quality of published research — not anecdotal reports, vendor claims, or influencer endorsements. Our recommendation quiz uses these scores, weighted by your specific goals and profile, to generate personalized rankings.

Research levels are categorized as strong (human RCTs), moderate (human observational or small trials), preliminary (limited human data), or animal-only (no human studies). We display these clearly on every peptide profile so you know exactly what level of evidence backs each claim.

How we make money

WhatPeptide participates in affiliate programs with Peptaura and SwissChems. When you click an affiliate link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. You can save with our discount codes at checkout. The commission comes from the vendor's margin, not your pocket.

Affiliate relationships have zero influence on our rankings. The scoring algorithm doesn't know or care which peptides are available through our affiliate partners. We also recommend non-affiliated services like Finnrick Analytics and Janoshik for independent purity testing because they serve your safety, even though we earn nothing from those referrals.

Our commitment

  • Harm reduction content is never monetized — no affiliate links on safety guides
  • Rankings are never influenced by commercial relationships
  • We link to independent testing resources on every peptide profile
  • Research levels and limitations are always disclosed transparently
  • We update scores and content as new research is published
